Warranty & Policy
Plain-English warranty terms for work carried out by Redlands Headlight Restoration, compliant with Australian Consumer Law.
The Redlands Workmanship Warranty
What we warrant
Redlands Headlight Restoration warrants that your restored headlights will remain free from yellowing and re-oxidisation for the term of your chosen option — 1 year on the Standard restoration or 2 years on the Signature restoration — from the date of service, under normal conditions of use. If your headlights yellow within this period, we will re-restore them at no charge.
What this warranty covers
- Re-yellowing or re-oxidisation of the headlight lens within the warranty term of the option you chose
- Failure of the GYEON Q² Trim EVO UV ceramic coating applied as part of the restoration process
What this warranty doesn't cover
- Physical damage to the lens: chips, cracks, or scratches from road debris or accidents
- Damage caused by pressure washing directly onto the headlight lens
- Abrasive cleaners, solvent-based products, or polishing compounds applied to the restored lens by the customer
- Headlights that have been tampered with, repolished, or treated by a third party after our service
- Pre-existing deep internal yellowing present prior to the service and disclosed at time of booking
- Lenses with severe pre-existing crazing or cracking that limits the restoration outcome
How to make a claim
Contact us within the warranty period. Include your name, vehicle details, date of service, and a clear photo of the headlight(s). We'll respond within 2 business days and arrange a re-restoration at a time that suits you, at no cost.

Aftercare: Keeping It Clear
Simple aftercare extends the life of the coating and keeps you covered under warranty.
- First 24 hours: avoid washing the vehicle; the ceramic coating needs time to fully cure
- Washing: hand wash or gentle contactless wash only. Avoid high-pressure jets aimed directly at the headlight lens
- Cleaners: pH-neutral car wash soap only. Avoid solvent-based or abrasive products near the headlights
- Waxing/polishing: don't apply wax, polish, or compound directly to the restored headlight lens
- Parking: park in shade or a garage where possible; prolonged direct sun is the biggest enemy of any headlight coating
